Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These terms govern your use of CourseIO.ai, operated by DevsVilla International Pvt. Ltd.(“CourseIO,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using CourseIO, you agree to these terms.
Using CourseIO
You’re welcome to use CourseIO to create and share courses. You need an account to use most of the product, and you’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You’re responsible for the content you upload and generate, and for using CourseIO fairly, lawfully, and in line with these terms.
Acceptable use
Don’t use CourseIO to generate content that’s illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or that we reasonably determine is abusive, deceptive, or harmful. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
Your content
The material you upload and the courses CourseIO generates for you — scripts, slides, video, audio, quizzes, and notes — are yours. We claim no ownership over them. We only use your content to provide the service to you and, where you connect it, to publish to platforms like YouTube on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI-generated content
CourseIO uses third-party AI models to generate course structure, scripts, narration, and quizzes from your prompts and uploaded material. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or need editing — you’re responsible for reviewing what CourseIO produces before you publish or rely on it, the same way you would review any draft.
Subscriptions & payment
Paid plans are billed through Razorpay and include a monthly allowance of lesson credits, which are consumed as you generate courses. Billing, cancellation, and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
Termination
You can stop using CourseIO and close your account at any time — see our data deletion page. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to CourseIO or other users.
Disclaimers
CourseIO is provided “as is.” We work to keep it reliable, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet every requirement of your use case.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourseIO and DevsVilla International Pvt. Ltd. are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the service or generated content, however caused. Our total liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period (or, if you paid nothing, to INR 5,000 / GBP 50 / USD 60). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or, for consumers in the UK or EU, your statutory rights.
Indemnity
You agree to cover us for third-party claims that arise from material you upload or from your use of CourseIO in breach of these terms — for example, uploading content you had no right to use.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in and may bring a claim in its courts. Before going to court, we ask that you raise the issue with us at hello@courseio.ai so we can try to resolve it within 30 days.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
